Adopt a Classroom
Only 55 percent of
the adult population in Haiti is literate.

The Nehemiah Christian
Academy in Chambrun is currently meeting in an abandoned cinder block
building. The classrooms are small with very little air flow,
no electricity and leaky ceilings. The teachers write their lessons
on blackboards painted onto the walls. Basic
textbooks are available, but workbooks, writing materials and even paper are
scarce.
This is where you can
help!
NVM would
like to invite you to adopt one of our classrooms. By adopting
a classroom, you will form a relationship with the class and
be able to provide moral and/or financial support. The result
is a powerful way of giving hope to the children in the NCA.
